it's friday!

Today I got an early start! grabbed some coffee with my roommate down the street and started printing bags for global goodness. Made a few pink ones already and I'm going to make some blue and grey bags as soon as the screen dries.

I also need to head into the city to grab some ingredients for this weekend's cakes....

I made some Pumpkin cupcakes and cake layers last night. deliver some to Lena and surprise her with it tomorrow when I visit the NY Art Book Fair. She'll be showcasing her Lines and Shapes book series, who she curates with her friend Maria Vettese.

Today is also exciting as I will be going into the city to pick up THIS. I am SO excited! Thank you to my wonderful cousins for the Sur la Table gift card for graduation from pastry school : )

Well the screen is dry and it's time to do another round of bags! Please support if you can and spread the word... we could use all the donations we could get, whether it's monetary, or by purchasing a bag, or by donating children's books that you'd like to get off your hands. Sarah wrote a beautiful blog entry a few days ago here that really made me stop and reflect on the goodness of global goodness and about Sarah's vision. I'm so honored to be part of the global goodness team and I'm sending Sarah a big hug from brooklyn.
